As a Catholic school, the basic practices reflect a Catholic Christian orientation to God. The Spiritual Life Office is dedicated to the spiritual well-being of the students, faculty, and staff of Delone Catholic. We strive to empower our students to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, foster their participation in the life of the Church, and enter more deeply into a personal relationship with God. Together the Director of Spiritual Life and the chaplain do this through a variety of activities, such as:

  • Monthly school-wide liturgies,
  • Weekly Mass on Thursdays during the beginning of "A" lunch in Our Lady, Queen of Peace Chapel,
  • Weekly Eucharistic Adoration on Fridays during both lunches in Our Lady, Queen of Peace Chapel,
  • School-wide Penance services during Advent and Lent,
  • Rosary on the first Tuesday of every month in Our Lady, Queen of Peace Chapel at 9:30 a.m., open to the whole community,
  • Weekly Stations of the Cross throughout Lent,
  • Interaction with seminarians from Mount St. Mary's Seminary during their Pastoral Field Experience,
  • Diocesan Seminary Day at Mount St. Mary's Seminary,
  • Annual visit to the Convent of Divine Love in Philadelphia,
  • Respect Life Club,
  • Participation in the March for Life in Washington, D.C.,
  • Peer Ministry,
  • Student Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion,
  • SportsLeader
  • Kate + F.A.I.T.H. (Females Acquiring Intelligence to Happiness) Girls' Fellowship Group,
  • Student representatives on the Diocesan Youth Council,
  • Mandatory annual retreat for each class,
  • Participation in additional Diocesan and area retreats (Fan the Fire Youth Rally, Mount 2000)
  • Delone Catholic-sponsored Kairos weekend, open to Juniors and Seniors,
  • And many other prayer services, volunteer opportunities, and time for fellowship throughout the year.
